WeedSeeker Releases Three New Spraying Products to High Acclaim

11 November 2014

At this year’s field days, WeedSeeker released three new products, the WeedSeeker Tug Along Boom, a higher capacity option for the Miller Nitro WeedSeeker Mono Boom, and new Quick Disconnect Stainless Steel Bracket Kits. These systems were on display at field days across Australia, attracting much interest and attention.

Since McIntosh Distribution acquired Crop Optics Australia earlier this year, the team has invested heavily into capitalising on WeedSeeker’s renowned performance and quality by ensuring growers had access to more highly reliable, factory warranted spraying platforms.

“We worked closely with one of the leading tug-along boom manufacturer Sonic Boomsprays, to provide a WeedSeeker platform which is capable of handling our harsh conditions,” said Mike Symes from McIntosh Distribution.

Available in 24m to 36m widths, the new WeedSeeker Tug Along boom impressed many, with the  platform clinching the Best New Release – Machinery Attachments at Dowerin Field Days this year.

The second product release is a wider, fully warranted option of the already popular Miller Nitro WeedSeeker Mono Boom. It is now available up to a 36m, offering farmers a higher capacity spot spraying solution. The Miller Nitro WeedSeeker Mono Boom comes in widths from 24m – 36m. A customised boom trailer is also available for the Mono Boom adding yet another level of convenience.

“The wider boom allows growers to spray more area per hour, making spot spraying even more efficient” said Mike Symes.

“An added advantage of the Miller Nitro’s quick attach feature is its ability to swap attachments quickly. Along with the Miller Nitro’s front mount visibility, boom stability, and capacity, the Miller Nitro WeedSeeker Mono Boom is the ultimate combination for selective spot spraying and asset utilisation,” he continued.

The third product release involves additional Quick Disconnect Stainless Steel Bracket Kits for other sprayer platforms including a design that allows Weedseeker to be fitted to header fronts providing the convenience of targeting weeds while harvesting.
“These stainless steel bracket kits can be fitted and removed from booms single-handedly, without special tools, in as little as an hour.  Kits are available for a wide range of boom sprays and provide affordable entry into selective spot spraying.”

“As the sole Australian distributor for WeedSeeker, McIntosh Distribution are committed to providing growers with the best range of versatile and quality Selective Spot Spraying solutions,” continued Mike Symes.
